Conner said she was crazy, but Mother Goose said that it was true and it was their grandmother's final wish for her to not tell. Evly later killed the Enchantress, but she couldn't do anything to bring Mira back, until she found out the Wishing spell. Conner ripped off his mask, so everyone else can be convinced that he is their father. Thank god the Masked Man is gone. He says that Conner's writing is amazing through other characters.
Colfer has a great ability to continue to create original and fun adventures even while using the recycled idea of fairy tale characters. At first when I heard they were going into Connors stories I was disappointed but I was so wrong Connors stories were awesome. So of course I was looking forward to reading this book. Charlotte had some great scenes in the book that showed her as a character not just their absentee mother. When the twins and their friends enter worlds crafted from Conner's imagination, finding allies no one else could have ever dreamed of, the race begins to put an end to the Masked Man's reign of terror.
She arrived at the Giant's castle which Mother Goose was staying in. Bolt saves the day and is now a true superhero. Everyone is in stasis, so they'll be safe during the trip, but when Zero's pod malfunctions it wakes him early, like 105 years early. Charlotte tricks the Masked Man by giving him a sedative during the transfusion and they are able to escape. You won't want to put this series down. Cornelius leads them to their new hiding place and Rook shows them inside. Now knowing he has a son, the Masked Man immediately sees a world of opportunities for revenge.
I hope that it doesn't lead to a double world thing where regular people travel back and forth and the worlds are symbiotically together. However, besides that, I thought this book really pulled me in. Unfortunately this series is no longer for me. Throughout the book Connor goes through his own stories to recruit characters to fight for him in the upcoming war. Suddenly, Alex and Conner find themselves in The Land of Stories.

The plot is well thought and I am awed at what an incredible story this is.
All in all this series is no longer for me. Through it all, now 15-year-old protagonists Conner and Alex, torn between at least two worlds, struggle to do the right thing and help their loved ones as their quest takes them to a colossal cliffhanger ending. We listen to them when we make the 6 hour drives to see Grandparents which is often! He will also serve as one of the executive producers on the film, which will be produced by. The plot was really boring. After that, Bob finally proposes to Charlotte and they get married in Queen Cinderella's castle. There are interesting bits, like back in fairytale world.
The book's still really good, and you know I just love bitching. I love The Land of Stories and can't wait until the next one comes out on Audible. While they are getting the ingredients for the Wishing spell, Alex and Connor come across many tales that their father had once told them. So of course I was looking forward to reading this book. She agrees that she will help them, but not until she comes home from work and they shared a family meal. The most I can say without getting really mad, is that this book is trash, and Colfer clearly hasn't read much written by twelve year old children.

Conner and Alex are loving siblings -- and several plot developments here have them recognizing places where they might have fallen short in the past and owning up to it. But their knowledge on fairytales stretch way beyond anyone elses. Chapter Nine: Sailing Circles Around The Bermuda Triangle Still heading to Starboardia, Conner explains that it is an island with a fortress and they can use it to defeat Smokey-Sails Sam.
